Before I joined TT, I helped Food Network launch their Snapchat Discover channel as the editorial lead/project manager.
In 2012, I helped launch Rodale's, an e-commerce from publisher Rodale centered around beautiful, eco-conscious products. As content editor, I helped develop and refine the brand voice + strategy for editorial content, product copy, social media + marketing. I coordinated w/ the merchandising team to generate editorial calendars based on seasonal themes or product pushes, then produced + merchandised content. Other responsibilities included SEO copywriting, uploading content to the CMS (Drupal) or e-commerce platform (Demandware), social listening (Adobe Social) + reporting on KPIs using Omniture, Charbeat + Google Analytics.
Prior to this, I spent almost 5 years on the food editorial team at monthly magazine Every Day with Rachael Ray, where I became skilled at content packaging + wrote extensively about food, trends, health, nutrition + lifestyle topics such as sustainability, personal finance + psychology. I regularly recruited + assigned freelance writers, performed market work, maintained an extensive roster of experts in various fields, oversaw photo shoots + collaborated w/ the art department.
